And now, finally, the texts of the Museum Night. With all the amenities (friendly hosts, drinks and entertaining show deposits), we have forgotten a little bit of why we were there and eigenlich so we could motivate this time, unfortunately, only 26 people to let us have their opinion about Poland betrayed. But brevity is the soul of wit is well known and so we have gathered again this time interresting opinions. The beautiful photos made this time Ania Kuzio-Weber.
Poland are our closest neighbors, and even childhood memories connect me with that country. - As a child I have already made weekend trips to Poland. With the Polish people, I've only good experiences and I also come back every year to Poland. - I think we should move together much more closely!
only concern that cross-border transport links are so bad! I always think back fondly the people who know I was: At Delfina Ambrozic and Stanislaw Dyzbowcis in Lodz, and to Maestro Satoczewski also to the clerk of the kitchen Sarbienowo. I very much hope that we move together as soon as possible and close exchanges between Poland and Germany is simply a matter of course!
And in addition I have a Polish grandmother Anastasia Rakoczy.

Mezedhes once. I know that the German-Polish relationship is problematic since the war.
I think that live there are nice people and beautiful natural landscapes There.

Poland is close and yet I was not really there. Why? I do not know, because I can not change the language? Maybe.
What I have seen from the train window was beautiful in landscape. I feel like going there to-nature holiday by bike
The people I know who were born in Poland are all very very nice.
I was amazed that in Warsaw nobody left in English or German language at the station / switch, switch International ).
interesting, strange and exciting.
(Nadja, naturopath from Berlin, traveled by train through Poland and Lithuania had in Warsaw 5-hour stay at the station)

Nice people, great tracts of land. Looking forward to the visit and, often, the vodka. (Tanya, graduate Ingieneurin architecture from Germany)
When I was in Poland - which were unfortunately only 3 days - I found everything a little dull. Warsaw is not necessarily a beautiful city and the people encountered on the street do not seem to be really friendly ... but when I then went through the university district and several young people have seen and got to know her better in other discussions has changed my opinion. I think that the Poles, I mean the younger generation, much more ambitious, more ambitious than the German young people. They somehow seem to know what they want, of course, mainly in terms of their career. In familiar terms, that means far as what the topic of family formation, etc., I think they are much more traditional than the Germans ...
The prejudices regarding alcohol consumption and friendliness have above all the men in the nightlife partly confirmed. Men of the same appeared drunk and were therefore very unfriendly and a little scary. General of Poland, I do not know very much, because I was just in Warsaw. Apparently, other cities will be much nicer ...
is also very obvious (positive), that almost everything in Poland is very cheap. =)
(student from Germany, was in February 2007 6 in Warsaw)
What I think about Poland?
For me it's more than just the neighboring country. I associate very much with Poland, as I was born in Poland. Almost my whole family lives there. Thus it was that I was in my studies, specializing in East-Central Europe. I think Poland is due to its history and culture of one of the most interesting countries in Europe. It's worth more to Poland to learn to clean up the prejudices that exist, particularly in Germany still.

Right now, I’m really worry about the Polish Government. Most of their policies are against the Human Rights. Principally the self-freedom. Of course, their fight against lesbian and gay people should be removed from EU comission. I hope the Polish people can stop their politics before they damage more and more human beings.

I think the Polish policy about gays and lesbians should never be allowed with the Eiropean Union. It’s unbelievable that a European country can still be homophobic.
Furthermore, the way they have approached to reaching agreements within the European Union have caused continous problems for being so narrow minded on only thinking under Polish perspective.
All together, it should make us reconsider if they should stay inside the European Union.
(Mann aus Spanien, war noch nie in Polen)
After story:
A country that is on the way to the EU (new member). But has already caused a stir, which I find not good. They should be something carefully because they have not contributed to what. This recording is honorable. A poor country that can have only ALL , but with the time .

About Germany:
It is difficult to assess objectively German because I grew up here, but German is definitely more punctual than Poland and sometimes more reliable. On the other hand Poland cordial and open other people are against.

- Difficult mortgage for a simple neighborly relations between Germany and Poland.

I think Poland is a very beautiful country, so great! When I was a child, I had a book on bison in a Polish forest. I've only met nice Polish people. A friend of mine from 2003 to 2007 worked at the University of Opole. She is 49 years old, divorced and childless. She has found himself in the company anywhere, and felt like a gay! So a whole new experience. About the Museum School, I am much in contact with Poland and I'm very excited about what it is all how many different scenes, there are and how open and curious, especially young Poles.
(Karl-Heinz Steinle, exhibition curator from Berlin, was many times in Poland) 24
Ernst critical to be or not, lovable Poland. Fight against Nazis, Warsaw Resistance, Solidarity. A nation with its own will, a strong nation.

Since '89 I knew about Eastern Bloc little, I was very Western-oriented, now more oriental (Mediterranean).
'88 / '89 as many here have come and at Aldi purchases I wondered how that goes. I've seen how it was a lot of hostility and asked me how I would go to live there. How will I be treated?
Warsaw '86:
Extreme poverty, huge churches restored gold, and the people poor, physically / mentally. At 12:00 so many drunk. Some very nice, but socialist aesthetics. Crumbling, traces of use.
