On 9th September , the last day of the radar project, we were standing in the rainbow factory. With the founders and employees of the rainbow factory, we have been friends for years and we did many projects together. We have worked dozens of times in the factory, read, ate. We organized joint events - Readings, parties, concerts, exhibitions, cinema screenings. Therefore, as we were yesterday in the courtyard of the factory, so many memories came up, especially on countless German-Polish literature workshops we have held in the same court (and of course inside the house). 
This time we were only guests at one of several initiatives that starts the rainbow factory, and carries out: Heritage Days . On 9 September 2007, it organized the factory under the motto: In the Footsteps of Jewish life in the neighborhood. There was an exhibition to 2 times and was a sightseeing bike tour organized in the neighborhood, which was attended by us Thomas. His Raport it comes in next post.

are the official Polish - German relations are not so well - irritiernd are the official Polish reactions, for example, to articles in the German press - one has the feeling of a certain reactionary backwardness of Poland's official. - I had before the first visit hardly knew anything about Poland. Except something about politics + history.
- although so close to Berlin is one of my favorite holiday is closer than Western Europe. My three visits were positive. Very nice people, beautiful landscapes + beautiful - vibrant cities.
have historically politically + I learned much from each trip. In big cities there were good museums + info about historical issues.
I will more often go to Poland.

I found the landscape in Poland & beautiful people friendly. I also had years of a Polish colleague with whom I listened to music of Bregovic. My current Polish friend moved away recently, unfortunately the USA. Well, can I say more now.

I think Poland is an important neighbor of Germany, a German far too many unknown land. In the German press last particularly differences between German and Polish policy emphasizes what is so far very annoying, as the move the prejudices and resentments to the forefront. You will get most of the German Poland at all.
initiatives such as yours, who emphasize the exchange and common ground, I think, therefore, very important and desirable ! Happy !

Poland for me is so close and yet so far. The language is definitely an obstacle for more frequent visits.
I spent very nice holidays stays, but also a bad experience. Actually, I know far too little about the country.

I love the Polish cuisine, while their sweet soup, sometimes it was too much brandy.

The twins did not deserve Poland. Foreign policy in the EU is too much by the trauma of Poland in the past, I can nchvollziehen.

An older German lady in elegant red suit, Karin Seiffert-Abuzied from Kreuzberg was our last contact. She had been to Poland.
My friend Regina Räthel learn Polish, it is Catholic religinslehrerin and gave me a lot about Poland. I was 22 years ago in Krakow, a beautiful city! European with great wit. Also in Gdansk, we have international air breathed. History is there first hand. Wroclaw is very fresh in my memory. On 19 April, I was at a demonstration (about 4,000 protesters) to treatment of temporary workers, of all women. The Poles are very active! Keep it up.
