The DAB + Ensemble the SwissMediaCast AG will also accommodate the Open Broadcast Channel (OBC) . The Open Broadcast Channel is an advertising-free project, which by the Open Broadcast Community - is designed and produced - a network of scientists, cultural and media workers. The listener has as output a young music and culture radio with new formats and experimental content. The start of the OBC is performed simultaneously with the launch of the new DAB + ensemble, which from September 2009 can be received in the Zurich, Basel and Bern. The distribution area will be expanded later stages.
